This is a wonderful 8-Day oak longcase clock which is in superb condition and is in perfect working order. The dial is the most superb arched Wilson dial .
If we start with the hood, this has swan necks, which have lovely brass pateras. Lovely turned columns which terminate in gilded capitals flank the hood door. The door also has a very pretty little brass knob. There are straight back slates with a nicely reeded edge. The hood sides have slits which are lined in green blue silk to allow the sound of the bell to attenuate from the hood.

The base is then raised on pretty little bracket feet.
